New York City's business leaders have long been wary of Mayor Zohran Mamdani's affordability agenda, which includes proposals to freeze rents and make city buses free.
Not surprisingly, some of the biggest names in New York business – JPMorgan Chase, BlackRock, Google, and Facebook parent Meta among them – have chosen not to join his new Business Advisory Council.
